September 2022: First Trip of Production Team to Medjugorje

The purpose of the trip: 

• To see if there was a movie to be made.

• To meet with the relevant church officials in Medjugorje with the goal of receiving their support and collaboration on this project.

In August 2022, Jennifer Tadlock, Holly Carney, and Ann Vucic discussed an idea about making a major motion picture about Medjugorje. We felt strongly we needed to go to Medjugorje soon, to explore that possibility with the relevant church officials there. If we could get the support of the local church officials, we would proceed with the movie.  If not, that was the end of it. 

Arrangements were made for that trip in record time, and three weeks later, in September 2022, the team was in Medjugorje. The initial group included:

Jennifer Tadlock, a producer/director in Hollywood for almost thirty years.

Holly Carney, a producer in Hollywood for almost twenty years.

Ann Vucic, the Medjugorje consultant for the project.

Angie Lake, Holly’s aunt, who served as our prayer support.

Kiki Carney, Holly’s daughter, who served as our producers’ assistant.

We had a flurry of meetings in a very short amount of time, all of which were incredibly positive and supportive.  Everyone we met with expressed great excitement about the project and offered their whole-hearted support.
